Tracing the influence of the Italian style on French music of the 17th century, this programme includes Giacomo Carissimi’s poignant early oratorio, Jephte, along with choral, solo vocal ensemble, and orchestral works by  Charpentier and Lully. Featuring vocal soloists selected as part of the BREMF Live young artist programme.
